NEBOSH International Certificate

Risk Assessment Course

The NEBOSH International Certificate has been recognised for many years as the basis for a sound, broad introduction to the fundamentals of occupational health and safety at Management Level.

Duration

The programme of study requires 87 hours (normally delivered over 13 days).

Intended For

Those responsible for Health & Safety in the workplace. There are no barriers to entry to the training programme, but it should be noted that the examination includes a requirement to write a short report therefore delegates are advised that they need a minimum of Intermediate level English to attend the course. Those who would benefit from the course include managers, supervisors and employee representatives.

Objectives

The course aims to provide those making day-to-day decisions at work with a broad knowledge of health and safety to ensure that the health and safety implications of their decisions are properly taken into account.

Content

Certification

On successful completion of two written examination question-papers and a practical assessment the delegate will receive National Examining Board of Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH) certificate.
